Description: GCH provided long range development strategies for integrating rural residential communities within the adjacent resort communities of Semiahmoo and Birch Bay. The plans recommended expanding the existing forested areas to provide natural wildlife and preservation corridors as well as create smaller residential neighborhoods within the open landscapre. The community is anchored by a central public ocean-side park.
