Description: Discovery Park is a 19 acre open space located in the central portion of the Tehaleh Phase 1 community. The park design includes a community center with gathering and gardening spaces, pool, event lawn, integrated native animal habitat, pavilion, lake, splash pad, trails, STEAM design features, outdoor classroom, and an amphitheater; it also serve as the primary stormwater facility for the Tehaleh community. GCH worked closely with Newland Communities to develop the design for this new park, the largest in Tehaleh, to meet the needs of the community’s multigenerational residents as well as the adjacent Tehaleh Heights Elementary.
