The Lagoons at Sandestin

Scope: Site planning and landscape architecture including concept design, schematic design, design development and construction drawings

Size: 10 acres

Program: Lazy river, a variety of pool types, wave rider, parking, jacuzzis, bridges, slides, cafes, retail, restrooms, outdoor showers, children’s water play area, entry court, pool pump rooms and multiple waterfalls.

Description: The Lagoons is a large scale water amenity for guests at The Resort at Sandestin. Located directly adjacent to the coast, it serves as an extension of the beach itself, providing swim and play facilities for all ages. The design simulates the Sargasso Sea with underwater sculptures and story boards throughout the park.
